FAQ

Is Nyquest free to use?

Nyquest uses prepaid wallet billing at standard model rates with no markup. Fund your wallet via Stripe to use hosted models, or use BYOK with your own API keys for free. You can set an optional daily budget to control your spend.

How do I pick a model?

Use the model selector dropdown above the chat input. Select a specific model to pin it to the conversation, or choose "Smart Routing" to let Nyquest pick the best model automatically.

Can I use my own API keys?

Yes. BYOK is supported for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI. Your keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and used for direct provider calls. See BYOK docs.

Are all themes free?

Yes. Every theme is free. Always included. See Themes docs for the full list.

How does Nyquest make my budget go further?

Nyquest optimizes token usage through smart routing, prompt optimization, and context trimming. You pay standard model rates — but use fewer tokens per request. This is efficiency, not a discount.

What happens when I hit my daily budget?

Requests pause until the next day. Your conversations and data are preserved. You can adjust or remove your budget at any time in Settings. See Budget docs.

Is my data private?

Conversations are stored securely on Nyquest infrastructure. BYOK keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We do not sell or share your data.
