Two ways to use Nyquest

Choose hosted usage, BYOK, or both. They work independently.

Hosted Usage

Prepaid Wallet

Sign up and get $1 free. Fund your wallet via Stripe ($5–$500) when you need more. Hosted requests draw from your balance at standard model rates — no markup. When your balance runs out, hosted requests pause until you add more funds.

BYOK

Bring Your Own Keys — Free

Add your own API keys for any supported provider. Requests go directly to that provider under your billing. Nyquest never charges for BYOK usage — you pay the provider at whatever rates you've negotiated.

No wallet required. Keys encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

Every request shows the model used and the cost charged. No ambiguity.

Pinned Model

When you pin a specific model, every message in that conversation uses that model. Billing follows the pinned model's published rate. No surprises.

Auto-Routed

When Nyquest selects the model, billing reflects the actual model served — not a blended or estimated rate. The model name and cost are visible on every request in your usage analytics.

Per-Request Tracking

Every request logs: model used, tokens in/out, cost, and routing decision. You can see exactly where your money went — by day, by model, by conversation.

Nyquest does not invent pricing. Hosted usage follows standard model rates. You are always billed for the actual model that served your request, at the published rate for that model. Media generation includes a 20% processing fee.

Media generation is billed at the provider cost plus a 20% processing fee for storage and delivery.

Daily spend caps (optional)

Budget controls are a protection layer on top of your wallet — not the billing model itself. Set them if you want guardrails. Skip them if you don't.

Set a Daily Cap

Choose any daily spending limit. When you reach it, hosted requests pause until the next budget window or until you adjust the cap. Your wallet balance remains — only the daily limit is enforced.

Real-Time Tracking

See today's spend accumulate in real time. Per-model and per-conversation breakdowns update with every request. Know where you stand before you hit any limit.

Daily budgets are entirely optional. Without a cap, hosted requests draw from your wallet balance until it's depleted. You can add or remove caps at any time.

Billing details that matter

Clear answers to the questions you should be asking.

What happens when my wallet runs out?

Hosted requests pause until you add more funds. Your conversations, settings, and history are preserved. BYOK requests continue to work normally — they don’t use your wallet. There is no hidden fallback billing.

Can routing change my cost?

Yes. When Nyquest auto-routes, it may select different models for different requests based on complexity. Each model has its own rate, so cost varies accordingly. The actual model and cost are always visible per-request in your usage analytics. Pin a model if you want fixed, predictable pricing.

How do daily budgets interact with my wallet?

Your wallet is the source of funds. Daily budgets are an optional cap that limits how much can be drawn per day. If you set a $2/day budget with $50 in your wallet, you’ll spend at most $2 today. The remaining $48 stays in your wallet for future use.

What Nyquest does not do

Nyquest does not invent text model pricing or claim special discounts. Media pricing includes a transparent 20% processing fee. It does not secretly reroute requests without visibility — every routing decision is logged. It does not store or log prompt content. It does not degrade model output intentionally. It does not require a subscription or lock you into a plan.
